Amidst a dull economic environment and subdued business activities, a local startup company has risen to help stall owners in Nairobi’s bustling streets afford space.
Notify Logistics is hinged on enhancing operational affordability for small businesses. The company bore a campaign dubbed ‘Rent – A – Shelf’ which has been reducing rent for SME owners by over 90 per cent, during the pandemic.
“They pay about Sh. 3,000 for shops that would otherwise cost Sh. 60,000. The shops also have an attendant and are all licensed and registered,” Notify CEO, Waweru Nderitu, told a local daily.
The Rent – A – Shelf initiative targets small businesses that have an online presence. Notify gives a physical outlet to such enterprises where clients can come and interact with products.
Moreover, Notify Logistics say their company has been connecting client to financiers who offer affordable micro-credit loans. This has made it possible for small business owners to have working capital to run their businesses smoothly.
“The goal of Notify Marketplace is to be a supporter of dreams by providing small businesses with all they need to grow,” asserted Waweru.
