Kenya Film and Classification Board (KFCB) CEO, Dr. Ezekiel Mutua has hit hard at Kenyans who accused the Government of pulling publicity stunts, accusing them of having insatiable thirst for bad news.
In a tweet posted on his official Twitter Handle, Mutua scolded negative Kenyans who took to social media to claim that the Government was pulling publicity stunts when it announced and revealed the identity of two young Kenyans who successfully fought the pangs of Corona Virus.
He went ahead to challenge the ‘Thomas’ et al to demand for receipts for the two Kenyans who succumbed to the virus, daring the naysayers to brand it as a PR stunt too.

Joho Urges President Uhuru to Consider Lockdown as Corona Panic Intensifies
“So why are you not demanding to see the bodies of the 2 patients who have died of Coronavirus? Don’t you think that the government is playing PR? Ama kukufa ni sawa shida ni kupona? I just realized that Kenyans have a very big appetite for bad news!” expressed Mutua.
Mutua echoed his sentiments following the serial downplaying of Kenya’s first win against corona virus. Instead of the recovery news being received with great attitude, Kenyans questioned the news saying the recoveries did not look like they had survived a near death experience.
