How you can use a Probox to make money in Kenya

How you can use a Probox to make money

Some four years ago, my buddy was going nuts simply because her mom was planning to buy a Probox. “Imagine mom is planning to buy a Probox of all cars. I’d rather she doesn’t buy one!” She was grumbling. To be sincere, I shared similar views to hers at that time. I did not have much respect for this vehicle. Most people didn’t anyway. Now fast toward, my distaste for Probox has turned into a colossal liking. More like an admiration. The economic benefits you can get from a Probox are vastly underrated. Most people don’t know that yet. However, a few intelligent individuals are reaping big by making good use of this car. Many successful investors, entrepreneurs, or business persons have a thing for Probox, and it’s no coincidence. Or maybe it is. Just maybe. But that doesn’t diminish the usefulness of the car. It’s impressively versatile.

So, what are some of the ways you can make use of your Probox for economic gains? Just hang in there!

Eggs

A probox is amazingly spacious. It’s built to be loaded with stuff. Therefore, you can quickly ferry your eggs to the market either at retail or wholesale rates. The good thing about eggs is that there will always be a market for them. And as people get to know you, more orders will come. You will soon be tagged “Egg supplier.” Mind you; a Probox can carry many trays of eggs compared to other small cars. Oh! And in terms of fuel consumption, you are sorted. A probox will save you a few bucks. You can even do 300 kilometers for Ksh3, 000 on fuel or less.

Transporting farm harvest

Owing to its durability, a Probox will undoubtedly do you an excellent service for a good number of years. You can choose to specialize in one farm produce or go for diversification. Either way, transportation won’t be a problem for you. Just make sure you understand the market well. Remember to take your product to where it’s needed. Scarcity breeds a need. Here is a rule of thumb, if you’re selling fruits or vegetables, make sure you take them to an urban area. This is because most people in towns cannot grow their vegetables (or fruits) so they will have to buy from you. You’re welcome!

Food delivery

Nowadays, people are mostly busy. They are so busy that some don’t even have time to cook (particularly lunch). Or perhaps people are just becoming lazier. But the one thing you can be sure of is that people will eat whether they cook or not. Thus, if you have a Probox, you can grab this opportunity and start food deliveries. The good thing about this service is that it gets better with time. It will only cost you some patience. People will get to know you eventually. Your business will bloom. However, just like the fruits business, you need to be in a town. This is because people in cities are generally busy and thus, they may not find time to get to the kitchen or go out shopping.

TAXI

The number of people opting for private transport is at an all-time high. This is mainly attributed to the onset of the Covid 19 pandemic. Public transport was left to those who couldn’t afford to pay for a Taxi (which is relatively more expensive). This means that now more than ever, the Taxi business has to be taken seriously. As seen, a Probox will come in handy. And don’t forget that its speed is still impressive. If customers have luggage, you will not have to worry about insufficient space whatsoever. A big win, that one!

Selling Electronics

I have a friend who uses his Toyota Probox to sell phones and other electronics. I know that sounds creepy, but boy, that guy is saving himself a lot of expenses. And I mean a lot. You know that to rent a shop in Nairobi, you will have to part with a few notes every month. So when my pal decided to start using his Probox as a shop, it made sense to me.

In this modern era of business, intelligence wins eventually—best of luck.
