Corruption and Conflicts:A discussion on the causes and solutions of conflict and corruption

We are very honoured to be having a joint fellowship in conjunction with several clubs centred on our theme of the month “Peace and conflict resolution”. πŸ•ŠοΈ

The discussion on possible causes and solutions of conflict and corruption shall be tackled by Dr.Julius Kipng’etich and DG Patrick Obath.

Dr Julius Kipngetich is a scholar, speaker and corporate guru. He is currently an Advisory Board member of the Blue Company Project and Regional CEO at Jubilee Holdings Ltd.
Previously he has served as CEO of Uchumi Supermarkets Ltd, Kenya Wildlife Service, Investment Promotion Centre (KENINVEST) and also as the Chief Operating Officer of Equity Group Holdings Ltd.

DG Patrick Obath is a member of RC Muthaiga. Areas of his Rotary service include District and Country RYLA Chair, Country Annual Giving Chair, Country Membership Extension Chair and WASRAG ambassador District 9212.
Patrick is currently running a private practice consultancy in Energy and Extractives with special emphasis on Leadership, Governance and Sustainability.

He chairs several boards in the private sector and has served as Chairman of the KEPSA, FKE and is currently Chairman of Standard Chartered Bank Kenya and Javahouse Africa among other organisations.

We are very excited to have them share their time with us and steer the discussion as we are the ones to bring about the change we’d like to see.
