Shortly after Willis Raburu’s indiscretion became public, details of his serial cheating habit only a few months into his marriage have emerged.
It’s alleged that the Citizen TV breakfast news anchor, who doubles up as a host for the teen show 10/10, started cheating on his wife Marya Prude in their first year of marriage. According to reports from Marya’s friends, Raburu developed a straying eye after realizing the wife was pregnant.
It’s reported that the couple struggled with the indiscretion as they fought hard to keep what had now become a weakness from the public eye. At some point, Raburu allegedly promised to shun his ways and concentrate on preparing for the arrival of their baby.
As fate could have it, the couple suffered a still birth as Kenyans held their breathe watching the duo struggle with their loss, belief and still keep up with their fast paced careers. It was in that phase that the couple decided to shun religion and chose to question the existence of God to the shock of many.
Nonetheless, Raburu and Marya came into terms with their loss and announced their comeback to religion in April 2020. What the public didn’t know is that the couple’s marital bliss had succumbed to indiscretion long before they could announce their religious comeback.
According to their family friend, Raburu moved in with his Ugandan mistress in mid-March, abandoning his grieving wife. As to whether the separation rumor are true or false is yet to be established as the couple maintains silence on this sensitive issue.
